What: To garner legislator's support for the 2008 IAFP legislative agenda and further personal relationships with lawmakers.
Parking: There are multiple visitor parking lots at the capitol complex. We suggest using the visitor parking lots located to the south or east of the capitol. There is a free parking garage located on the corner of Grand and Pennsylvania Ave. A free shuttle takes visitors to the capitol doors every 10 minutes. If you are staying at the Hotel Fort Des Moines a free shuttle will be available to transport you to the capitol. Please ask the hotel for more details.
